OKETO announces the completion of Grass-Hopper Polska sp. z o.o. sp.k.’s acquisition of a 58.13% majority stake in SILPLAST PACKING sp. z o.o., a Polish specialist in the preparation, assembly and packaging of furniture hardware kits.
The transaction involved colleagues across the OKETO organisation, with Paweł Biela, Grzegorz Renke and Piotr Biela playing leading roles. Their work covered opportunity origination, transaction preparation, due diligence, structuring, negotiations and execution through closing. Paweł and Piotr also hold ownership and management roles at Grass-Hopper.
The acquisition advances Grass-Hopper’s vertical integration strategy, combining its furniture hardware manufacturing and distribution activities with Silplast Packing’s specialist assembly and packaging services. The combination creates opportunities for purchasing, commercial and logistics synergies, while broadening the Group’s offering to furniture manufacturers in Poland and internationally.
The transaction framework also provides for a planned capital increase at Silplast Packing to support operational development and further growth.
For the Group’s next phase of development, OKETO plans to evaluate conventional equity and debt financing alongside tokenization through digital securities, depending on capital requirements, transaction structure, jurisdiction and applicable requirements.
